Blogging Au Plein Air, Jean Baptiste Corot

For my first Flicker experience I searched Thailand pictures since I'd loved the place and the people when visiting in 2006. After a few moments of nostalgia it was time to search Flicker further. Alas, here's what I found while searching Corot, whose paintings are in the National Gallery in Washington ( a couple at Boston's MFA). Love this humorous take on one of his :) So, let's try some Visual Thinking Strategy..."What's going on in this picture?" "What do you see that makes you say this?" "What else can you discover in the picture?" VTS is a great technique that I'm learning about to start kids looking at art.

Bravo on your first blog posting Mary. I wonder what the tech equivalent is for wearing your heart on your sleeve... as you do on your blog.

The Flicker experience must be doubly excting for you now that you are working with MFA!!! Very exciting things to see on line AND first hand at the museum.
